Warehouse Maintenance & Facilities Admin - (25679)

The Facilities & Maintenance Admin is responsible for performing maintenance shop and inventory-related duties with a high degree of proficiency and accuracy. Duties include research, ordering, receiving, storing, handling, documenting, and counting of facility spare parts and materials; maintaining orderly parts storage areas; cleaning floors, shelving, bins, and work areas; labeling storage racks, bins and cabinets. Applicant will also maintain the eMaint maintenance management software program. Applicant will be under the direct supervision of the Facility Maintenance Supervisor.

The primary responsibilities/essential functions of this position include the following but are subject to change based on operating necessity:

  • High degree of accuracy, close coordination and cooperation with co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Duties include receiving, counting, and storing of all equipment and facility related spare parts.
  • Initiate various inventory and materials documents, routinely review inventory reports and prepare reports to assure inventory accuracy and improve logistical support efforts.
  • Researching, investigating, coordinating and resolving inventory material discrepancies and taking appropriate action to maintain an accurate inventory and an orderly store room.
  • Responsible for placing orders for broken parts, tools, and supplies for the facility and janitorial group.
  • Maintain the maintenance management software program by printing out preventive maintenance work orders, filing completed work orders and issuing follow up work orders and work requests.
  • Knowledge of standard inventory and storeroom/warehouse practices including material receiving practices, efficient material storage, inventory-related report preparation and maintenance, and other related duties.
  • Ability to type 20 wpm.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to courteously, closely and effectively coordinate activities with co-workers and supervisors
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Possess a minimum of 1+ years experience in administration, data entry or a related field.
  • Proficiently work with Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Word.
  • Demonstrate exceptional detail accuracy and interpersonal skills.
  • Work successfully in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Hours of Work and Work Environment:

  • Typical work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a. m. to 5:30 p. m.
  • Overtime and some weekend work may be required based on business needs.
  • Work in a warehouse setting.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
