Machine Operator

Job Description

Insulfoam, a division of Carlisle Construction Materials, a worldwide leading diversified manufacturer of premium building products and related technology, has MULTIPLE immediate openings for Machine Operators. Machine Operators are responsible for operating and tending the machines that are used to produce and shape Insulfoam s expanded polystyrene (EPS) blocks. Multiple positions are currently available for both Day and Swing shifts. Responsibilities include one or more of the following, depending up machine assignment:

  • Molding/Expanding: Operate or tend machines designed to mold and expand bead into EPS blocks according to exacting standards of work orders.
  • Cutting: Operate or tend machines designed cut EPS blocks according to exacting standards of work orders.
  • Fabrication: Operate or tend machines designed to fabricate EPS blocks according to exacting standards of work orders.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent is REQUIRED
  • Mechanical background preferred
  • Ability to use measuring gauges such as a measuring tape
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks under strict deadlines
  • Reliable means of transportation required

SHIFT INFORMATION:

  • Day Shift: Monday thru Friday 5:00 a. m. 3:30 p. m., Saturday 5:00 a. m. 1:30 p. m.
  • Swing Shift: Monday thru Friday 3:30 p. m. 2:00 a. m., Saturday 1:30 p. m. 10:00 p. m.
  • Ability to reliably work 50-60 hours per week, Monday Saturday is required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
