Under the supervision of the Specialty Dry Mix Superintendent, this position loads, transports and unloads various materials utilizing a double forklift and performs other related duties as required.
This position will also work closely with the Sack Plant Production Supervisor.
The position in time may include cross training in several positions at both operations and will often float between the two; and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Requires basic math, reading and writing skills.
Able to read the tape measure.
On-the-job training experience is required to be able to perform duties.
Ability to operate forklift and any other equipment required to perform duties and be forklift certified.
Predictable, and Regular attendance is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Standing, walking, sitting, talking/listening, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, Reaching with hands and arms.
Lifting up-to 100 pounds.
